Elizabeth Groover Layton

Elizabeth Groover Layton, 95, died Monday, November 29, 2007 at Buckingham South.

Mrs. Layton was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and was co-founder of Coastal Paper – Sail Chemical Company with her husband Wade Lamar Layton who preceded her in death. She was also a member of the Chatham Club.

Survivors include a cousin, Mrs. Louise Watson of Red Springs, NC and friend, Bennie Faulk of Savannah.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Temple.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Temple. Pallbearers will be Ronald Layton, Wayne Layton, Johnny Layton, Randy Layton, Eric Layton, Wade Layton and Benjamin Ryan Faulk.

Interment will follow in Bonaventure Cemetery.

The family would like to express a special thanks to her caregivers, Kimberly Garrett, Cheryl Goethe, Gloria Larkin and all the caregivers at Buckingham South.
